GUIDE
I envisage images on one side of each rock related to humans, culture, civilisation, and on the other side to the nature and Earth.
It can be anything really: text, part of a poem, political commentary, pattern, texture, architectural reference, abstract symbols, personal story….
It can be very simple and minimalist or complex and chaotic… but it needs to have a rationale behind it.
Pending on the order of the rocks and point of approach of the viewer, the storyline created will be open to personal interpretation.
DOCUMENTATION
of the project is important and it becomes part of the narrative. I would like to keep the record of participants, what they made and any relevant stories/rationale - why you choose to make what you made?
I am interested in your personal symbolism and visual language. What will you choose to imbed in the rock of this Labyrinth? Why?
Please take photos and document your ideas, thoughts, progress.
Maybe we can video record short films of makers and their rocks.
All materials are provided by Andrea & ClayMake Studio, and the artwork will remain the physical and intellectual property of Andrea Vinkovic (with acknowledgment of all participants).
